Deadmau5: Careless Meaning
Careless Lyrics
You're a walking disaster, and I don't care
You cry yourself to sleep, and I don't care
You're wasting our time, and I don't care
You knew this day would come, and you did, and you really...

It's about the day the aliens masters came and we defeated them with squirt guns and woopie cushions because as th the song explains they were weak and gullible. The prophecy of this fulfillment cause the alien overlords to cry themselves to bed in their prison cells. This the short version of the interpretation. It's actually quite a bit deeper but I would have to bring out charts and other visuals.

I think it is about the true meaning of love and friendship. That "You're weak and you're gullible but I still don't care and still love you.

i think hes adressing an ex GF he recently broke up with. putting his pain in lyrics for the singer he hired to sing them with his famous electronic style slow beat as well as an accoustic version
-
i think this song is about an argument with his conscience.
"your weak and your gullible"- "and i dont care" -
I really hope that he means that he doesn't care that whoever he is talking about is like what he says they are, and that he still wants to know them anyway. Otherwise I'll be gutted. I don't understand what day was coming or who knew it or why, but I tend to ignore that bit so that I can think what a lovely human being it was who wrote this song.

i think it's about the negro struggle in our society
