Where's The Revolution Lyrics
-
Depeche Mode always kept a hand on the pulse of world politics, and in their work there are sometimes political statements, such as, for example, "Get the Balance Right". In the case of "Revolution", it is a direct call to revolution and a statement of the fact that "post-true" society is slipping into a totalitarian anti-democratic dictatorship. There are no secrets in the song - everything is said directly. Fear, lies and brain-washing till you agree that everything is OK. There is no revolution - evil wins.
