DragonForce: Trail of Broken Hearts Meaning
Trail of Broken Hearts Lyrics
I've seen all the world and how the story will be over
Through the snow and tainted mountains we have climbed
Now we have found the light that guides us over
Through the falling rain we've travelled far and...

I think that this song is about somebody who recently experienced a breakup in a relationship, and is trying to cope with it.
"And through the blackest darkness, stars above shining bright" - This suggests that even though darkness seems to be everywhere now that you no longer have the love that you had, there is hope if you are able to get past it.
"We're walking hand in hand in dreams of endless time, how do we know when we will leave this life behind" - Walking hand in hand suggests a relationship, and then the second part with leaving this life behind suggests the termination of something. Combined, it suggests the termination of the relationship.
"Fly away, down the lonely roads of yesterday" - Lonely roads of yesterday suggests that now the person is lonely, unlike yesterday when the relationship was still going on.
"With the trail of broken hearts flying free" - This suggests that if you can get past the bad feelings and cope with the situation, the broken hearts will fly free and you everything will be okay.
"The last temptation will be all that's left for me.. When I see those tears you cried, when I hear those lies you lied, when I feel all creation now falling down on me, is this the reason to be?" - This is personally exactly how I felt after my last breakup. I felt like all creation was falling down on me. I felt like the last temptation would be all that's left for me. That suggests severe depression, like suicide. The middle parts about the tears you cried and the lies you lied suggest that the person is thinking about the ex-girlfriend and all of the problems associated with her.
