I think this song is about fighting for what you believe in even if it makes you an outcast. In the song, four warriors who are strong fight in a storm carrying a lantern. The four fight for what they believe in, what makes them feel alive. They cross seas and mountains to stand together and raise their light so others can follow their lead. They may be outcasts, but when their master calls them (when they die), there bravery will shed light for others. We must all be strong in the storms of life and fight for what we believe in. The four warriors ride on together through the black destroying evil and prejudice and in their heart they feel splendour (feel good for what they've done). This song shows how we should be perseverant in our lives and even if we feel we are only going to the valley of the damned and we meet many obstacles, we should still fight and be proud in our hearts for our accomplishments and to know we are not alone. At first, the warriors are on the negative side (wings of death, hands of doom), but their perseverance through the storm and continuing to fight causes them to have hope and have sun. They know that even with the mistakes they've made, the lives lost, the four warriors will be together forever, never giving up fighting and will unite as one in death in the valley of the damned where the outcasts have a place of light.
