I personally believe, in correlation with the music video, that the song is a continuation of the story first told in "through the fire and flames." It seams that the warriors where somehow defeated or more likely imprisoned. Years later (possibly hundreds, thousands, or even millions of years later) they are discovered and revived. The song is then telling their story before they leave to continue their quest.
Just my opinion.
