DREAMERS: Sweet Disaster Meaning
Song Released: 2017
Sweet Disaster Lyrics
Drifting like it's 1974
Dressing like the Rolling Stones
Hey! Ho! Let's Go, get some more
Like young Ramones
Some nights feel like every night
This one feels brand new
Only got bad things on my mind
When I'm with...

This song is about getting high and forgetting all your worries when you're having a good time. In the music video, Nick (wearing a wig), Marc, and Jacob are in a corner store hallucinating. In the beginning, the colors are black and white, and at the beginning of the second chorus, a slushie machine explodes bringing colors to the video after Jacob and Marc mess with it. They all go crazy when Nick (in a police costume) is just there. This means they are real-time high.

I think its about alcohol. The name "sweet disaster" is reffing to a short fun experience, "swimming through the morning after" I think is a hangover.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

To me, it's completely obvious that this song is about a pair of alcoholics & what their life is like... It's so obvious.

It's about a broken relationship where the people involved never stopped loving each other, but both of them knew it was a toxic cycle.
-
It's about a guy who has a ex-girlfriend or some girl that he's in love with but he feels that she is using him and only calling him around when it's convenient for her and to lead him on but not really give him her heart. She enjoys his attention but doesn't want him getting any closer than sexual partners. She lets him have her body but not her heart and this is making him feel used and stupid. He hates himself for giving into her but he can't help it for he's I love with her. He feels that he's living a life of disaster with her but he doesn't know how to stop it.
