Eiffel 65: Blue (Da Ba De) Meaning
Blue (Da Ba De) Lyrics
About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees
Is just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything...
-
I own the cd and it says daba de daba di, no words but it's about the world being bland and conformist
-
im about 90% sure thats he's saying "i was the other guy" not "ba da be ba da die"
which kinda makes more sence of why he's blue.
he was kind of a "backup" boyfriend, and when he found out he was blue (sad) and it seemed to him that everyone and everything else he saw was blue also... -
Nope.
Correct lyrics are
"I'm blue da ba de da ba da(die)
if I were GREEN I would die" -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I have a slight correction for the lyrics
I have listened to "I'm blue da ba de da ba die" intently on making out the words.
From what I can make out it is actually saying:
"I'm blue and I believe I will die,
I believe I will die,
and I believe I will die." I'm not sure but I think this might change a few interpretations. -
This song is clearly about being you own self and staying true to yourself, no matter how different everyone may think that you are. Like when gothic people wear all black is his "Blue".
-
This song could be about how a guy is sooooo depressed or, the interpretation most people think of, It's about Hallucinogenic drugs.
