Elvis Presley: Can't Help Falling in Love Meaning
Song Released: 1961
Can't Help Falling in Love Lyrics
Only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin?
'Cause I can't help falling in love with you
Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to...

#1 top rated interpretation:Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
//This is the part where there is someone who is opposed and do not want their love to continue
but its too late to stop it since he already fell in love
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin?
If I can't help falling in love with you?
//In this part he already lost his logic he does not know the right from the wrong. He is already consumed by his emotions.
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
//Everything now is up to their fate.
Let their destiny decide everything.
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
//Ill be with you.. I will leave the life that I am used to.You are my life now. -

"Wise Men says Only fools rush in"
The meaning Of this is the are falling in love in a short time.. They really dont know each other that much.
But they want to marry each other even they only met and does not know each other yet -
I think he fell in love with her but it was forbidden and he is explaining that it happened as natural as a river falls into the sea. However He is conflicted between doing the rigth thing or be with her because he says “shall I stay? Would it be a sin?” And then “take my hand, take my hole life too”. But he cant help it because he is already in love with her.

Elvis falls in love but happens so quickly that he can't help it. And he is saying, this to the woman. He also is saying take my hand and my hole life too, meaning take my love and then his life too. This a love that is forbidden and therefor it would be a sin to marry. But he is asking the woman to take him. For his love.
-
It is that, love find no gender. Love is a feeling and not for what you see. When love goes to that certain person, then it doesn't matter the outer of that person.
-
I think that the meaning of this song shows that Elvis isn't supposed to love a girl, but he can't help it, and loves her anyway because of the way she is.❤
-
its talks about how he fell in love with a woman whom he just met. he feels like she is the one he wants to spend his life with. he would give his life for her.
