Midnight Run Lyrics

All the things you hate I find fun
Things you wanna see are just done
I may regret if you're the right one
But I can't avoid the midnight run

I'll keep on going, I'll keep on going
Til I find the right one
I'll keep on growing, I'll keep...

This song has quite a deep meaning in various ways. For me, this song is mainly about escaping from an unhealthy, insecure place. Example is saying that he is escaping to find a better life, a better place to grow up and open up (e.g: "I'll keep on growing until I find myself a new show").

He knows that he is taking a big risk by escaping. E.g:"on another midnight run, sniffin' for trouble unlucky for some". He is basically saying that he is slightly afraid to grow up and face the trouble on his own. Eg: "It's hurting my eyes, it's hurting my ears, I know there'll be tears". There, he could be saying that he is leaving behind people that he cared about besides all the ones he hated.

The rap "couple of skeletons in my head, my wallet, my bed,etc..." suggests that he is trying to clear up his mind to try and feel more peaceful in his soul "I'm looking at the man in the mirror right now and I'm not quite sure it's me".

Example could also be referring to two very different opinions or sides "all the things you hate I find fun" and the controversy of it. When he says: "If we're meant to be together change the way you see the weather" he is talking to the offender and telling him to change his attitude if he wants him back.
