Don't Leave Me Alone Lyrics

Now's not the time to say goodbye
And I'm not the kind to question why
Well I don't feel very well, and it's getting cold as hell
It won't be the same, can't you tell?

Don't leave me alone

This can be considered Extreme's lost song. It Ironically appears only on the cassette version of the 3 Sides to Every Story concept album in-between God Isn't Dead and Rise N' Shine songs. The song describes the character on his knees asking Jesus for forgiveness. It's a fitting prelude to the Truth section of the 3 part story. Unfortunately, one can only speculate as to why this important song was omitted from the CD version. Perhaps Extreme wanted to avoid
becoming too "preachy" in it's more circulated CD release.
