If you want to open your hole

Just put your head down and go

Step beside the piece of the circumstance

Got to wash away the taste of evidence

Wash it away

[got a taste of evidence]

If you want to open your hole just put your head down and go is not a reference to sexual activity. It can be likened to opening up a can of worms. He's saying if you want to open up the hole of evidence, go right ahead, but it leads nowhere because it didn't mean a thing, he didn't feel anything. So there are no answers or evidence of why there's been a betrayal.

You guys are idiots. That's what it means. Just stop it. The song doesn't mean a thing. Ask the guy standing next to me. He probably knows. Idiots.

It's about splitting with their previous guitar player. Just watch the video with all of their body language and it becomes obvious. Patton and Miller were at odds all the time. It's actually quite clever, even though Angel Dust and The Real Thing were their best two albums. Check it out again, and you'll at least get a new perspective.

it is about infidelity it is so obvious ! :) i love it ! i do not know about the sexual context and details how they do it, what they did the opening of a hole could mean open a hole in your heart , soul ... or just spread your legs, but above all it is about cheating yes ... wash away the taste of evidence obviously wash away what you just did! it didn't mean a thing - it was without feelings envolved but also could mean exactly the oposite it meant something but speaking (singing)out loud it didn't! anything you say we know you are guilty ... yes a hint it is a woman ,unfaithful woman, hands above your head - chill out relax let him do the job , forget all your worries and guilty conscience! or it is about a couple who once were together and broke up and now having sex again the guy got hurt the woman is in a relationship with somone else and she dumped the guy and now he got over her and doesn't feel a thing for her anymore or just a lover who use to have feelings for here but learned not to and doens't feel for her anymore! god! that was long but i love this song!

its about cheating on your signifigant other. when a couple is together for a while they tend to not use condoms. the song starts "if you want to open the hole just put your head down and go" (swanky funky music) which is an obvious reference to oral sex. the "evidence" of her infidelity is the taste of a condom. "gotta wash away the taste of evidence". and in any cheaters scenario, whats the most typical response when caught? "i didnt feel a thing! it didnt mean a thing". thats just my spin on it. great song
