Pete Wentz said at a concert (that you can find on YouTube) that this song is about how he and his then fiancée Ashlee Simpson had found out that she had just gotten pregnant, but at the time the band was on tour in Chile, so Pete didnt have to be there with Ashlee to "break to news" to her father. Which relieved him

Simply amazing song. Let's face it, it's a very complicated song to, and the only ones that could really tell us the true meanings are Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz.
But here's my interpretation;
I think, 'the only thing suicidal here is the door, means basically, the only suicide you could really give yourself is giving up on something. A door, (in my own words) is associated with giving up, walking out on something. 'The only thing suicidal is giving up'
I think the whole song is about FOBS success, as far as i know, many of the band members have/are suffering depression. I think that's why their songs are so meanigful and simply, brillaint. -
