The Mighty Fall Lyrics
Oh God!
Sean Don
Fall Out... boi!
Did-did you trip down 12 steps into Malibu
(Malibu, ooh, ooh, ooh,)
So why the hell is there a light that's keeping us forever
Bel Air baby, did you get dressed up?
Pretty pout, pout

Okay, this might sound corny, but I believe that this song is about a guy who falls in love with a girl and he doesn't know how to tell her, so he teases her to show his love.
"Did-did-did you trip down 12 steps into Malibu, ooh, ooh" shows that he is teasing her to get her attention.
"I can't stop it when there's chemicals keeping us together" refers to how the chemical reactions in his brain made him like her.
"Oh, how the mighty fall in love" refers to how he thought he was strong enough to resist love, but he fell in love anyway.
"B-baby we should have left our love in the gutter where we found it" refers to how he fell in love with her but he should ditch it
"It's getting clear you're never coming clean so I'll lock you up inside and swallow, swallow the key" refers to how he knows that she will never love him so he'll keep her inside his heart and never let her go.
"And, hell, yeah, I'm a dick, girl, addicted to you" refers to how he is acting like a jerk to the girl but he really loves her -
Some guy is a real big shot, but he basically gets the stool kicked out from under him.

I believe the mighty fall is about a relationship between two people, one being a high class/Hollywood girl. The other being a low class; the complete opposite. Some lyrics to support my theory:
"Did you trip down 12 steps into Malibu
So why the hell is there a light that's keeping us forever
Bel air baby did you get dressed up pretty pout pout
I can't stop it when there's chemicals keeping us together"
---I believe this verse is reffering to the guy being confused as to why she seems to love him, as they are opposites/ she does not belong or fit in with him. However, he does not reject her love, as he falls for her anyway.
"Your crooked love is just a pyramid scheme
And I'm dizzy on dreams"
---This line explains how her love for him is not real/ is a trick, but he does not consider that, as his imagination of their love is deluding him.
"Baby we should have left our love in the gutter where we found it"
---This simply says he regrets taking on this trashy relationship.
"Its getting clear,
you're never coming clean
So I'll lock you up inside
And swallow, swallow the key"
--- He now realizes their 'relationship' is fake. She won't admit that she was using him for an unknown purpose. He doesnt know how to deal with this, so he decides to take what he knows about this fake love, forget it, and fall for her anyway.
"The Mighty Fall in love"
---Meaning either the song was a mighty adventure of falling in love, or it could be suggesting that everyone, including the mighty, fragile, etc., fall for others, and this song just explains one out of many stories.
