    I think the song is about a guy who was engaged and his fiance leaves him for another guy, but he still loves her. I'm pretty sure it's actually about a friend of/one of the band members 'cause they talked about it in an interview I believe

    ok this is what i am thinkin. this dude and his gf have an intimate relationship. at least that's what the girl thinks. she gets together with this other guy you know to get the 1st guy jealous. the 2nd guy asks her to marry him and she says yes mayb cuz she thinks it will get the 1st guy uber jealous or mayb she just doesn't want to say no 2 this guy to say cuz she kant. neway shes gonna marry this guy and the dude she really likes is gonna show up to her wedding as a guest. then she gets all sad and depressed that he isn't up there with her. maybe...maybe not...

    It seems as though, the bride was cheating on her soon to be husband and the other guy didn't want to anymore.. but he still cares for her, and he wants to know if she still cares, "such an unfaithful bride, draped in chains" she's not faithful to her man.. So he's asking would you be depressed if I attend the wedding, but only as a guest.. meaning he doesn't want to cheat anymore... Love this song tho :D
