George Harrison: Beware of Darkness Meaning
Beware of Darkness Lyrics
Beware of falling swingers
Dropping all around you
The pain that often mingles
In your fingertips
Beware of darkness

I looked up Weeping Atlas Cedars. I had never heard of them. The do look like a flood of tears. Now the song means more to me. It’s amazing how far ahead of the mainstream artists can be; yet art is not considered worthy of teaching many children.

It seems to me a Dark Night of the Soul experience.

in your fingertips, means because it is within our grasp, we are all open to it, not to think we are not susceptible

Falling cinders...not swingers

Can anyone please tell me what George meant by “:the pain that often mingles in your fingertips?”
I have no idea and have tried my hardest to research it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Falling swingers I don't know swingers are sex objects, Maybe falling for you to pick them up and become one of them.

I absolutely love these lyrics. It's partly a warning not to let the darker aspects of life, especially unbridled lust, sadness & depression, and greed, get a grip on you. Also, not to let those that have already succumbed, who are past the point of no return, (fallen swingers, slick purveyors of material good, and especially greedy politicians) have an influence you.
...and to fight the darkness. Not to let sadness and depression lead you into the abyss where you might do something foolish to yourself. -
Drugs and death.
