Ghost: Hunter's Moon Meaning
Song Released: 2021
Hunter's Moon Lyrics
I'm coming back for you, my friend
To where we'd hide as children
I'm coming back for you, my friend
Though my memories have faded, they
Come back to haunt me once again
And though my mind is somewhat jaded...

This song was given to Ghost to sing as the end credits for a horror movie following the name of “Halloween Kills”, so there’s not too much to interpret. Unless you haven’t watched the movie yet (which I suggest you do), then the movie is basically about Michael Myers - an insane killer, who we should all know by now - escapes from a trap in order to continue killing. A lot goes on, but basically; put into simpler words, Hunter’s Moon is the ending song for the movie. So, if I can interpret anything from that piece of information: the song is about Michael Myer’s victims, and how he’s coming to kill them. “It’s a Hunter’s Moon” could possibly be saying “get ready, because I’m hunting you down by the time the moon sets”.
