Hell Nos and Headphones Lyrics
is speaking different languages.
With that green prescription file,
blowing up their faces.
And they all look me up and down like I'm the fucking new kid,
but I saw the sun rise on this town way before you...
-
This song is about an experience Hailee had at a party where she went and immediately felt comfortable. She was going to stick it out and stay, but soon realized no one should feel as if they have to be uncomfortable in a situation to fit in. (She explains the experience during her performances on the Untouchable tour in 2016 with Megan Trainor.) Beautiful song with a deep meaning.
