   This song actually gives me hope to reaching out to the ones that don’t understand the grey area of their worth. My ex was an addict. Standing on the edge of returning or just running away. Also stands do you fight or not. You’re caught between black or white and some cases not. Or run away. It’s never a clear picture. Depending on what it is. Chance of to give up or go all in but don’t want to lose what they have. For somebody you care about. The choice is there and has been there but what chance will you take?    There's black and white. Mix them, you get grey. She's torn, caught in that they area between two different things/feelings .

   I feel that this song had to do with her parents. Arel didn't have support at first and possibly felt alone and that maybe she had but off more than she could chew. She may have felt stuck in the industry and felt she couldn't move forward but also there was no way she was giving up her dream. Caught in the grey.

   I dont know what it means but I fell that the grey is an interpretation of when you can be at your lowest. Its making me think of a girl who ran away thinking she could make it in the world. She fails and gets caught in the grey selling herself out to the point of where her actions caused her to be humilated 'lose you by what I have done' she lost him/her because shes to humilated to face them knowing whats she has done.
