INXS: Don't Lose Your Head Meaning
Song Released: 1997
Don't Lose Your Head Lyrics
-
Michael Hutchence at the time was going through a pretty hard time, he lost his sense of smell and taste after being hit by a car in 1992, he had a court case up against Bob Galdof (who was trying to take ownership over Michaels daughter Tiger Lily), he was always doped up on medication legal and illegal due to his depression and anger management and he was struggling with his relationship with Paula Yates. he was hitting rock bottom, this song (written by Michael) was his way to control his feelings and to reassure himself. He had the fame and the fortune but it all still caught up with him. This song was his message to the world to keep your head up and to not let your mind take control over your body.
