Trumpets Lyrics

"Trumpets"

[Hook:]
Every time that you get undressed
I hear symphonies in my head
I wrote this song just looking at you oh, oh

And the trumpets they go
And the trumpets they go
Yeah the trumpets they...

I think the song actually begs for a more literal interpretation - when he gets aroused by looking at a woman, he actually hears music, i.e. has synesthesia, a neurological condition characterized by perceiving something due to the "wrong" sense. People with this condition often will report "smelling" something they see, or certain sounds appearing colored, etc. In his case, the experience of sexual excitement could literally sound like music...

    Drums they swing low (balls)
And the trumpets they go (dick)

Basically the whole song is about Jason derulo having a boner. You're welcome

The song is him explaining his feeling of being horny. Trumpets are his way of describing being horny. He says he hears trumpets everytime she moans. And i played this song at my sons party...

The drums are his testicles, and the "trumpet" would be his raging erection.
