Runaway Lyrics

And I always find, yeah, I always find something wrong
You been putting up with my shit just way too long
I'm so gifted at finding what I don't like the most
So I think it's time for us to have a toast

Let's have a toast for the...

The whole song meaning is a reflection about Kanye and the public eye. The reason the ending is muffled and distorted is it's the public view of what he is saying. They know he is speaking but not really know what he is really saying.

He is admitting his faults and habits. He cant really explain why he does these things to her because she is a good girl. So he tells the girl Runaway instead of helping him but there is no way he will change. He will hurt him but he understands. He really wants the girl to accept him and he will eventually change but it will take time. He is disappointed at himself but he cant control his devious behavior with females. He is not a relationship type of guy because he always find something wrong. He is addicted to woman but cannot commit to them.

This being my favorite song of all time i always look and seek to find the meanings of songs. My view of this is much like other people. When kanye is singing I feel as if hes the scum bag. Hes telling the girl to runaway from him and have a better life without him. to get away from his toxic lifestyle which is only hurting her by sending nudes to other women. he also states " I can have me a good girl and still be addicted to the hood rats. That no matter how good he can have it. he looks to find a way to mess it up with people that have half value as other girls are in his life.

I think most people have the song incorrectly interpreted and point to certain lyrical lines while ignoring other critical ones. I think people might be partially right, but I think there's another side. "The jerk-offs that will never take work off" to me implies that sometimes people don't understand that.. we have to go to work to pay the bills. We can all be douche bags and assholes and all have our flaws - if you can't accept an individual's particular faults - run. Runaway. She finds pictures in my email - sure sending a dick pic. in a committed relationship is crappy but.. why are you snooping in their email? Are you happy with the relationship or not? Does sending that pic. change the relationship? "Every bag, every blouse, every bracelet Comes with a price tag, baby face it. You should leave if you can't accept the basics." I think most people interpreting this song are missing that last paragraph entirely. He's extraordinarily wealthy - his flaw is he has intimacy issues and apparently occasionally cheats. Those are both extraordinary things for sure - but perhaps liken it to somebody that works 60 hours a week to support somebody and that person has a tough time giving their all in bed, or giving their all in trying to be adventurous or whatever it is that the other person wants. If you can't accept the life, move on. Runaway.

I love how there are so many interpretations of this song. Take it how you understand it and run with it! I love music and how it makes you think!

He definitely criticizes himself in his song, that is obvious! Furthermore he is warning someone (supposably his girlfriend) of himself. He even advises her to runaway from him because of his bad habits!

I think this song is about Kanye reflecting on all the crap and sh*t he has done. He does say :
"Let's have toast for the d-bags,
    let's have a toast for the a-holes,\
let's have a toast for the scumbags,
everyone of them that i know,
baby i got a plan,RUNAWAY as fast as you can,
[Run away from me baby, run away!]
It is pretty obvious that he is referring to himself as a d-bag,a-hole and a scumbag. he is pretty upset with himself and feels depressed. That is why he is warning everyone close to him to just "runaway" from him because he believes he can't change...
the first part of the song: "
I sent this girl a picture of my ..."
That is obviously the ct of a d-bag,a-hole and scumbag..
Not that i agree with him, sure he did some shit in his life, but the fact that he is admitting his fault is a good thing. RESPECT!

Kanye reflects about all the stupid crap he's done with his life and he wants to get away from everyone, so when he says "let's have a toast for the d-bags" he means let's just applaud them for all there crap sarcastically. When Kanye says "he was never much of a romantic, could never take the intimacy,And I know it did damage
'Cause the look in your eyes is killing me
I guess you knew another vantage
'Cause you could blame me for everything
    And I don't know how I'ma manage
If one day you just up and leave" meaning he can settle for his best and if you can't accept it then goodbye.
