A & W is about the loss of innocence and the objectification of women. The line "I haven't done a cartwheel since I was nine. I haven't seen my mother in a long, long time." Its in reference to how when you do a cartwheel when your a child nobody typically objectifies you. As most women wear skirts their undergarments will be shown if they do, do a cartwheel.
