Song Released: 2017
The Way Life Goes Lyrics
That's true, that's right
She's sipping Moet, and yeah I swear it gets her wetter
My Louboutins new, so my bottoms, they is redder
No I'm not a rat but I'm all about my cheddar
Just talked to your homie she said we should be...

#1 top rated interpretation:Lil Uzi Vert has met a girl that he is in love with, but eventually he realizes that the girl was only in the relationship for his money, so he leaves. This creates a different kind of pain, and in the song "The Way Life Goes" he is singing about how he'll get over it, and that this is just his "way that life goes". This is one of the greatest song made by him due to the deep meaning behind it. The album this song came on "Luv is Rage 2" is full of different songs with similar meanings, all showing different coping mechanisms for heartbreak, showing how you can get over it.

Life can be so hurtful meaning we get depressed, heartbreak and disappointments.one important accept of life "life goes on" TheWayLifeGoes

We’re all trying so hard to make it. Nothing can compare to your own struggle and how hard it is to come up in this world. Especially with all the haters out there. Hella bitches/dudes be trying to get at that shht when you finally become successful. But what about the chick/dude who stuck with you while you came up? Now you’re different people. I never thought I’d let myself be so vulnerable to love you that much and tell you my true self. Now I have. And now we’re no longer together. I’ll try to be happy for us as separate people, but I’ll always love you.

I take the chorus in a very depressing way rather. I interpret the chorus as him telling us that someday we will have a new life to live. I feel as if it deals with death and suicide, he is saying that it may hurt sometimes but he'll get over it, he will find another life to live ( meaning he will end this life of his). This death can also be seen in the music video fir this song, the vibe of the music video is not at all positive, but rather follows the same meaning as I am suggesting.

He meets a girl and wants just sex but then starts to like her and then he hears a dog that says you’ll get over it, life goes on. So he’s getting over it
-
To know life goes on and everything isn't fair and based on true life stories.
