I think this song is about a girl who worships the ground her boyfriend walks on

The verses are just about a man she loves and how at the mere sound of his voice she knows he is the one. She shows feelings of both vulnerability and security.
As for the chorus, I always thought that "I’m down on my knees, I wanna take you there" was a refecence to giving oral sex. It is a clever play on words because being down on her knees is like she is praying, and wants him to feel the same as she does when she hears him say her name. Maybe if that interpretation is correct, it is a statement about how when women feel in love, they get gratification just from hearing a lover say their name, but men only care about sexual gratification.
