This song reduced me to tears the first time I heard it.it is obviously about child abuse and saying if its happening to you get help.don't put up with child abuse it has to stop and this song brings it to our attention more.very sad song

The song is about a little girl who is being beaten and neglected by her parents. People are suspicious but they don't say anything or when neighbors hear they ignore it. Then one night they end up killing her.
It talks about her strength to keep going when she could.
