Meghan Trainor: All About That Bass Meaning
Song Released: 2014
All About That Bass Lyrics
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass
Yeah it's pretty clear, I...
-
Eat want you want and you will still look sexy!
-
I think Megan is trying to say you are perfect in any way. If you are skinny or fat you should be happy about your size. The song is just so catchy and I love it.
-
This song is basically talking about girls that are thick. This song is saying that no matter if your skinny or fat you are perfect in every single way possible.
"She says boys like a little more booty to hold at night" is saying that there are advantages to being a big girl.
for those of you who don't know a bass, cello, and viola uses a bass clef in music. That's why she says "no treble" because violins use a treble cleff and they aren't that low. -
the song is okay, personally I don't like the way it sounds, but whatever. this song has a good message it was just portrayed the wrong way. talking about having a big butt to get a man was not the best part. but when she says something like you're perfect in every way is good
-
It's a well-intentioned song, but it's lost in translation when she talks about her mama saying that boys prefer bigger booty or that she gets the boys chasing her. She contradicts herself in some places, including using the term "skinny bitches". No Meghan, your mother is wrong. A booty, big or small, shouldn't matter. Honestly, the song wasn't bad, but some lyrics are very questionable and almost defeats the message itself.
-
I think that this song is beautiful because she is trying to say that everyone is different but also special in every way :3 And for those that are offended just don't listen to the song dah!
-
I think that it is a good song, after all, music is about sound.
You know, I was walking to the shop and I saw an obese person singing this song. That ISN'T good. Partly, it's encouraging fat people to stay fat. ._. -
I'm skinny and I have a naturally skinny body (my genes) so i can't relate to her problem at all. im not flat either so that makes it worse. i just hope she isn't dissing skinny girls cause I'm not fake nor am I mean (someone said we were so they can fuck off)
-
This song is telling you not to worry about your size because "you are perfect from the bottom to the top" so girls don't worry about your body you're perfect.
-
I think it has a good message, but says it in a wrong way. Most people would think Meghan's saying " it's okay to hae a big butt", but I think she is trying to say " your perfect the way you are ;)
-
Bigger women typically don't dance to music with a lot of treble, like ballet. Skinny women typically can't twerk as well as women with bigger asses, which is done to music with heavy bass. She's about the bass music, because it flatters her body type.
-
I feel like it is all about her and her body. It is a realy good song for everyone to listien too. I mean reall good song.
Me and my frinds love listeining to it all the time. I thnk it means that fat girls are ppl too and that everyone should be nice to every one else. I don't think that all the skinny girls should really worry about it that much. It is a good song and everyone should listien to it whenever they have time becasue it is that good and fat girls are good to. :) -
It's about loving your size, even if you think you're fat.
-
I love this song ... I am 33 years old and I jam out to All about that bass. Saying that everyone is beautiful from top to bottom is the point of the song. People quit hating on her and this song because it talks about skinny girls and refers to them as bitches. In school we used to call all our girls this , means absolutely nothing by it . BTW Im the skinny fake barbie doll type and , its okay I love this song and give it 5 stars *****
