The Day That Never Comes Lyrics

Born to push you around,
Better just stay down.
You pull away,
He hits the flesh,
You hit the ground.

Mouth so full of lies,
Tend to black your eyes.
Just keep them closed,
Keep praying,
Just keep waiting.

(Chorus:)...

So i think u guys have alotta good interpretations, but I think this is a hardcore song about bullies! Look at the lyrics, its all about how he gets pushed around by these kids, and he wants revenge.

"I'll splatter color on this gray."

(my favorite line) is saying that maybe the best way to get revenge is by killing himself off, so the bullies would have his death on their consciences.

    "I suffer this no longer!
    I'll put an end to,
    This I swear!"

This is saying that now is the time to somehow put an end to all the suffering and make the sun shine

    :D

i think it even could be about a guantanamo prisoner. thinkin about killin himself or swearing revenge to the ones which are torturing.
splatter colour on this grey stands
for his own or the enemys blood.

This Man is been pushed ti his limit to do a bad things like revenge to his enemies.

Then this man is been jailed then he is waiting for the one that will come to set him free.

The Sun is the Hope that he will be set free.
There is NO place that LOVE is inside the Prisons Cell.

I think this song is about the 2nd coming of Christ. "The day" represents Jesus and the fact that he has not come. When will He come and what will it take. Towards the end of the video the Soldier looks up at the sky in a very questionable way. As if to say, when are You coming for us. Given the world today, War and so much killing, one would think this would be a good time to show.
