Metallica: The End of the Line Meaning
The End of the Line Lyrics
Tainted misery
Bleed... battle scars
Chemical affinity
Reign... legacy
Innocence corrode
Stain... rot away
Catatonic overload
Choke... asphyxia
Snuff reality
Scorch... kill the light
Incinerate...
-
my interpretation of this song is the media and how people are effecting people in this world. like trends and such. I can easily see them referencing things like
( the whole cutting epidemic in 2014 because it was a new lifestyle or some bs. )
or
Tyga or whatever rapper releasing that song about molly and then kinds around the age of 15 overdosing on the bs because it was what was "hot" at the time or it was what "the cool kids" were doing.
i support this interpretation with these lyrics
Need more and more tainted misery, bleed battle scars. chemical affinity. Reign legacy.. innocent corrode. Stain. rot away.. catatonic overload.
Hooked into this deciver need more and more..
into the endless fever need more and more..
new consequence machine. you burn through all your gasoline. asylum overtime.. nevermind. you've reached the end of the line.
call me crazy but that dead on means people are doing things for stupid reasons. because stupid people. but cant not do them because without following the pack you will be left away to rot.
