I think this song is about addiction possibly, alcohol or other substances. You're blasted everyday, you can't tell from what Is real and what isnt. "Reaching out for something you got to feel while clutching to what you had thought was real. It means to me is getting that high from the drug because it relaxes your nerves, it makes you play better until you need it all the time and you get addicted and the drug now has its hold on you You realize that it's a problem now. Now you're struggling with addiction. You deal with your own problems along with whomever else you're hurting.. Hey I could be totally off from what it means so lol whatever
