Michael Jackson: Heaven Can Wait Meaning
Heaven Can Wait Lyrics
I don’t want nobody else to hold you
That’s a chance I’ll take
Baby I’ll stay, Heaven can wait
No, if the angels took me from this earth
I would tell them bring me back to her

I agree with a lot of people on here, I think it’s about Paris and how he doesn’t want anyone else to hold her and he wants to be there while she grows up. It’s a sad tragedy on how he passed.. I think he knew she would be broken when he passed, which she was.. her song “Geronimo” is talking about letting go of her dad. This song made me cry. It’s about Paris, how she was his only daughter and he wanted to be with her. Moonwalker stand up

Heaven can wait is a beautiful song; it was a predication of his tragic death.
It is an analogy of the crucifixion of Christ and Jesus's love for Mary Magdalene and his desire to not leave her and be with the Angels in Heaven. Although, he would take the risk of torcher and showing his faith in God by laying down his life.
Now, there is some that say that Jesus never died and God performed a miracle and the two other criminals who were being crucified at that time (Barabbas was one of them) were replaced. Some say that Jesus and Mary left Jerusalem and had a child name Sarah.
Michael Jackson is referring to the Greatest story ever told because he was "Miracle sent from God" -
Michael is singing about the love of his life. Can't stand to see nobody kissing, touching her, can't nobody do you like the way we were

I believe its about his baby girl Paris.. his only daughter. The ending when he sings Please Leave Us Alone breaks my heart into pieces...
-
he was letting her know that he would pass on before her. so when he died he knew that she would fall in love with him again by watching him. when she was ready he would come to her and let her know hes there with her. and he would not leave her side. he will wait for her to be with him.
-
I think its about how he can't imagine his life without Paris and if he ever died he would say no he doesn't want to go ;)
-
I think its actually about Paris, and how much he loved her.
-
He loves his girl so much that he never wants to die because he would have to leave her so he's saying that "heaven can wait" because she is better than heaven. He can't imagine seeing her be sad without him and eventually moving on so he would stay instead.
