Michael Jackson: She's Out of My Life Meaning
Song Released: 1980
She's Out of My Life Lyrics
She's out of my life
And I don't know whether to laugh or cry
I don't know whether to live or die
And It cuts like a knife
She's out of my life
It's out of my hands
It's out of my hands
To think for two years she...

This song upsets me every time I listen :( I think this is about loving someone so much that the shock of loosing them is so numbing you dont know wether to even laugh or cry, you don’t know how to go on , the song has a tone of reflection to it about how although he probably did inform her at the time , he feels he never truely told his love his deepest love for her , and all he’d of done for her , he truely can’t see his life without her and how he knows love won’t wait , life carries on but he can’t see how his will without her :( I feel this song on a deep personal level I love mj and I love this song

About diana ross leaving him for someone else
-
I think it means like they were going to be in love, but that didn't happen, so she went with someone else that will show how much the person loves her. He tries to fix it, but he didn't do anything soon enough to get them back together again.

I heard it was about a dog he had that died.

I beleive someone micheals musical circle wife or girlfiend left him , realated the pain to micheal and mike wrote a song about it?
-
Thought it was about second wife Diane. Who stayed two years?
-
It's about Diana Ross she knew that their age difference was getting in the way of her truly loving him. When the Grammy she announced she was getting married and it devastated Michael the camera zoned in on him he looked like he was going to cry, regaining composure he clapped a sec. But that our a wedge in their friendship for awhile.she was suppose to be his best friend and lover she should have told him first. What a low blow. He wanted to be happy for her but it "cut like a knife she's out of my life".

Ah... This song. Doesn't matter where, how or when I listen to this, I always get the chills and start remembering that girl and what could have been if I had said this or done that... But this does not come in handy. This song is the genuine, raw, and true demonstration of how a man feels after losing someone he truly loves. In my interpretation, a girlfriend. But this song also describes the bright side of this sad proccess-the scars will heal and you will learn from your mistakes. Even though you have learned, it is too late, and you will not have her back. This is the most comfortable and bittersweet song I have ever heard in my entire life.

she's out of my life means that he fell in love with a girl but never showed it.and the girl had trouble understanding his love but she told him what was coming for him but he didnt listin she eather died or left him.but now he noticed he was wrong and he wants to change but, it to late!
-
Although this song is about a girl being out of his life, michael is really singing about how he has to pay the price of his fame. He can never quite have a normal life. He can see others enjoying it but it is always just out of reach for him.
-
She is out of my life means that the girl Michael Jackson is talking about is either dead or have left him and he cannot tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing "and i dont know whether to laugh or cry" so saying Michael Jackson is missing her and he learns about love but to late.
