Michael Jackson: This Place Hotel Meaning
This Place Hotel Lyrics
Ten years ago, on this day my heart [Incomprehensible]
I promised I would never ever be returnin'
When my baby broke my heart and left me yearnin'
As we walked into the room,
There were faces starin', glarin', tearin'...

As he walked into the room(hotel room, where others have been. Some to commit sins then leave). They both did things that lead to desirable lust and left its spirit in the hotel room. As well as the many others in the past. The feeling dwells into the walls, as if they speak of each moment that has ever taken place. Memories of hotel rooms usually have and leave memoirs for many. For its walls in them, will always speak a language to everyone who comes and go.

"This Place Hotel" (originally named "Heartbreak Hotel") was a hit recording by The Jacksons when it was released in 1980.
Written and composed by Michael (and produced by The Jacksons), the song would precede Jackson's own hit, "Billie Jean", in its insecurity-plagued tale of confusion. While his brothers did not sing background vocals, they were credited with playing percussion on the album while brother Tito contributed a guitar solo. The song has a tempo of 98 beats per minute, making it notably slower than many of the other disco-based songs on the album.
