Morgan Wallen: Wonderin' Bout The Wind Meaning
Song Released: 2021
Wonderin' Bout The Wind Lyrics
I don't know where the hell it comes from
Got no idea where it goes when it leaves
When it's here, it's here
When it's gone, it's gone
Kinda like them smoky mountain, fall time trees
I guess I'll leave it to...

#1 top rated interpretation:Such an amazing song if you think of it from a depressed standpoint. Mental Health depression is something most people can’t outrun. The “Her” Morgan refers to is happiness. It just comes and goes with the wind. And In the darkest days, We could really use a little breeze.
-
To clear it up:
wonderin about the wind is about him not being able to control when the wind comes or goes like this lady he is singing about he can’t control when the wind or “her” comes or goes stays and leaves and it’s almost as if the wind picks her up and carries her away and he can’t do anything about it -
It sounds like he’s talking about a partner that suffers with depression and how he doesn’t understand what causes it and what makes it go away. It also sounds like he knows when his partner is depressed and when she’s not. Also since he can’t help her with it he’ll leave it to God to help her, but he wish he had an answer to it.
-
Wondering why did she leave. Like the wind that you can’t see and can’t control. She’s back with a memory, a brief encounter or conversation. But always gone and you don’t know why.
-
Loving someone who is never really ready to be loved by you. They come and go but you never forget them. Right person, wrong time.
-
Memories of my wife that died, that just feeling that comes over you or the ones you miss and might never find again.
-
Mental Health issues. I think it could be related to the way my ex boyfriend feels sometimes. It's not easy to deal with me, and losing him is what drove me to get the help I so desperately need.
-
Remembering every woman that ever broke your heart, things that make you think of them from time to time
-
A love suffering from dementia, he wonders where she goes, and when she’s coming back. Like the wind, her mind comes and goes.
