Neil Young: Words (Between the Lines of Age) Meaning
Words (Between the Lines of Age) Lyrics
-
My thinking is he has been in the limelight.
And as he ages he sees everything as words between the lines of age from youth to old age.
He could have been a junkman not a famous star. he sees the irony in it, and the luck and circumstance in it.
They bring presents and say words that have no meaning to him, He knows they bring his image not him presents.
As we age we see some of the wasted time and would like to have it back ( old too soon ,smart to late.
It feels know like a dream to him now. The king is talking and not saying anything were he thought before he was saying something profound, but was only saying words. -
Between the lines of age are words. Only words can express the times between each line.
