Neon Trees: Habits Meaning
Habits Lyrics
I've got these Habits that I can't
I've got these Habits that I cannot break
I found life out on the weekdays
when we would drive to some new city
call me crazy, I was born to make a mess
Would you love...

This song is not called Habits though I guess that could be someones unofficial name for Sins of My Youth. The 1st song on the Habits album.
Like any youth, people make mistakes. Elaine Bradley nee Doty, was quite rebellious in her youth, as I'm sure the rest of the band was as well. Tyler certainly did have a angst like hair style in high school.
They had fun when they were young, it may be sinful but it was fun. They want to know if what they did in the past would change your views on them if you knew how rebellious they were as teens.
Neon Trees really want's people to feel youthful, as they probably want for themselves too. So that's probably their 'habit' to feel young to be in touch with their youth.
