Down In It Lyrics
And I was feeling some feelings you wouldn't believe.
Sometimes I don't believe them myself and I decided I was never coming down.
Just then a tiny little dot caught my eye.
It was just about...

This song is about losing your soul to drugs.
Actually, I believe that it is your conscious mind that the devil gets.
**Kinda like a cloud I was up, way up in the sky--he's high, my guess is meth.
So I decided I was never coming down--once you chose that state of drug induced existence & never come back down to yourself, that self no longer exists. Once you come down to a non existence self you are in hell. The tiny spot he watched too long is because he opened a door to hell. So what does it matter now, I was swimming in haze, now I crawl on the ground. Just like Jimmie Hendrix who was in a purple haze many artists have described that moment of losing yourself to drugs as being in a haze. Now he crawls on the ground because he is the devil, a serpent. As Henrix said...that girl put a spell on me..they are not the same person that they used to be.. Everything he used to see as evil in other people that he didn't like about that person is now all that he gets to see in people. He used to be so big & strong & know his right from wrong. He has lost himself & all that he knows is that he is not the same person. He looked him right on the eye & said goodby, probably doing a line off a glass mirror, lol. He would do anything to have the choice of being himself again but the decision has been made & the needle is already in his eye so he has nothing to offer in return of himself. -
this is about a person who smokes crack but thinks he will never be addicted, and crawl on the ground looking for crack like the people he sees around him smoking, until one day he finds himself down on the ground just like the others. He was better than that, but in the end, he was on the ground and down in it looking for scraps of crack. He ended up being sucked down like the others. Say no to drugs, lol

I think he is talking about drugs, I was up above it; now I'm down in it... he got clean then relapsed.. well my interpretation says what I'm about
-
This is about degenerative vitreous syndrome. He is talking about a dot that is an eye floater. He gets depressed about them.
-
This is about obsession with a person who merely caught your eye and whom you know nothing about so you are able to manage your actions at first...but then it pulls you down.
Possession of a fantasy in which you are the ruler of to obsession which denotes a sifnificant amount of objectification and depersonalization of the fantastical object of affection, which eventually becomes a fanatical personification of "tiny little dot."
