It was a little known fact that Cobain had carried on a secretive gay love affair with Hester Brookings, his deaf-mute accountant; and although the old man was unable to actually hear the garbled noises of the band Nirvana, Cobain would often croon into Hester's ear while rapidly polishing his antique trombone slide, thus bringing momentary release to the old fellow's twisted and feverish desires.
When their affair had ended, Cobain was torn between two courses of action - either writing a song about the affair, or performing the ancient ritual of rubbing himself from head to toe each day with a decomposing fish. To this day, no one knows which choice he made.
