   For me, the word "dive" in this context means a dive bar. A dive bar is usually kind of seedy where people are there getting drunk and carousing. When Kurt says "dive in me" it seems to reference his overall fondness for that type of environment.

   First, I want to say artist intent is only half of what can be taken from any writing. I've always attributed the basic meaning to be picked for a game on a playground. Usually, two students are choosen to pick their teams and in this context it seems like dodge ball. No one wants to be picked last. Usually it's a child version of pecking order. I believe a few of the lyrics are incorrect, so I'll just work with what is written. If you're choosen soon in the process the person would be your hero. Also, I believe a common fantasy for children is to not only be picked first, but to become the alfa, therefore I see the lyrics "Dive in Me" as a part of the fantasy of becoming the deemed alfa. It seems to come to reality with a child being picked on instead. "Hit me. Hit me. Yeah. I'm really good at hating." Anyway, I'm D Byron and that's what I get from Dive.

   I don't think it really has any real meaning as it's one of those songs that have words that are meant to not mean anything but, are there to be left for interpretations for people to question what its meant to be just because it sounds nice and does not give a finalized relief of a meaning.

   Peeeeople. I feel this song is clearly sexuallll. "Dive in me" hes basically saying "come into me" or like "get lost in me".kinda hard to explain. kiss this, kiss that, yeah" thats clearly obvious, he wants you to kiss him places :/ "let a low, long signal" hes saying hes giving hints, or that hes been giving suttle hints for a while. "Pick me, pick me yeah. Everyone is waiting" hes obviously wanting them to choose him to please, or something like that. "At least, at least, yeah. You can be my hero." hes stating that she'll be saving him from horniness, or along the lines of that. Hit me, hit me, yeah. Im real good at hatin" thats clearly sexual, like something youd say to a prostitute. Overall this song is either about a hooker or just lust for someone to come at them. Courtney Love said this was her favorite song he wrote, because "its so sexy". i find it pretty damn sexy myself ^-^ well there ya go, tah tah!

   these song is about dying young. He is in fact daring God to pick him now! now! now! Kurt hate waiting to his death, the song suggest that he is to exited about that.It is a very brave attempt indeed that is confused a lot of people, even his fans. He love reading poetry and he often give statements which is ambiguous, but that's the least way he can express his deep understanding about life. He must have been influence by the 18th Century artistic movement AKA Romantic Period. IT is the time when almost all of our classics flourished.1
