Nirvana: In Bloom Meaning
Song Released: 1992
In Bloom Lyrics
--weather changes moods
Spring is here again
--reproductive glands
yeah!
(chorus)
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it...
-
What's so great about being Picasso if the world is blind lol.
-
this was one of the plainly put songs. No metaphors, no figurative language..it's NOT about the matrix. I am like 14 LOVE NIRVANA and when I hear crap like "It's about the matrix, it shames kurt." The song was set around the period when Nirvana's fame skyrocketed. I think Kurt may have foreseen that. He therefore added this song, a righteous opinion saying "If you don't know what the hell we're talkin about, don't listen to us! Be your own person!" The chorus is the core of the song
-
it is about nirvana POSERS.Who likes Nirvana just because they are on MTV.i mean it is right there in
the chorus:
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means
Knows not what it means when I say aahh ...
THANK GOD FOR IN BLOOM
RIP KURT -
Okay the first guy was right and Kurt Cobain only went hunting once with his dad and some of his dads buddy's he stayed in the truck.
-
WOOT my 5 star rating put hopelesserik up to 2 stars.
I admit you sound crazy but it looks like you went to a lot of trouble diggin that info up.
But most of all very funny. Had a really good laugh. XD -
The chorus of this masterpiece is quite obviously about people who said they loved certain types of music just because they thought it was cool but I think the verse an title are about puberty and loss of virginity
-
I think this song was written in response to guns and roses request for them to go on tour together ...
"sell the kids for food" (appetite for destruction)
"hes the one who likes all our pretty songs and he likes to sing along and he likes to shoot his guns" --- (axel rose from guns and roses said they were big fans of nirvana what they didn't know and would have if they listened to the lyrics is that nirvanas songs were making fun of people like him)
other reference can be found through out the song "sweet child of mine" -
Ok you retarded idiot this song is not about the matrix you've out shame to kurts name by saying this
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
It's about people that are complete posers. The kind of people who listen to a certian kind of music just to get the image of the people who actually do listen to it.
And I think that the verses are about his hatred for his stomach disorder; "nature is a whore" and " bruises on the fruit" refer to his stomach and his how he hates mother nature for doing this to him. -
I agree I think it's about how people listen to music (their's) and are just listening to be cool, they don't really understand the messeges.
-
My interpretation is that Kurt was singing and mocking the jocks who only listened to his music because it was cool. Not because they realy liked it.
-
The song is about his friend who uses to go hunting with Kurt (Kurt would never kill any animals but sometimes shoot at cans) the song also refers to how kids listen to whatever not really knowing what the song is about or just clinging to what's new and cool to fit in.
-
He might be hot, but he's dead you dumb broad.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
