An eerie sort of foreshadowing in this song of the future he was not naive of, the oncoming and ever growing corporate world. 9/11, Facebook, and now Orwellian control of the masses, might seem a bit far flung, but that's my opinion, haha.

I think this is about being screwed by the media, seen as kurt was getting annoyed (suicidal) because of the band taking off so well and it not being about the music anymore. Either that or it really is just some lyrics he made up. On the acoustic version on the radio kurt says he just made them up on the way to the show to be "as spontaneous as possible."
Ive listened to this song alot, and will do a cover of it sometime its one of the easiest songs to play
