Very Ape Lyrics

I am buried up to my neck in

I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive: é mais importante "parecer" que se sabe, do que "saber" algo de verdade.

I think the song is about old people, or older people who believe they are smarter than everyone else. The song is about people who don't participate, don't help and don't learn new things because they think they already know too much. Who has already done too much for others.
I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive: it's more important to "look" like you know than to "know" something for real. On the other hand, I'm less cool and less evolved than I look.
