Do You Like It? Lyrics

crawled out from the pain of yesterday
I crawled to you and
I said all the things that you said to say

This song is about how the record industry manipulates artists and alters them to its view of what’s marketable. They tell u how to dress and what to say and change your image sometimes beyond your own recognizability until one day you realized you sold out and you ‘hate’ yourself for it but you don’t know how to change back because they are ‘the hand’ you don’t want to bite. And if that’s not what the song is about, it should be because the metaphor rocks.

This is a song about a guy who is in love with a girl who takes him for granted. She walks all over him and he accepts it because of his love for her. He knows he is being walked over ("I know how you love to watch me beg) yet he still does it because the feelings are too strong to overcome. ("I'm on my knees, do you like it yeah e yeah") He is being controlled uncontrollably. Love is a strong obstacle to overcome and his love for her is too strong to part or separate so he just accepts it, even though he knows he is being "jerked" around.
