Panic! At The Disco: Miss Jackson Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Miss Jackson Lyrics
No one knows it’s you, Miss Jackson
Found another victim
But no one’s ever gonna find Miss Jackson
You put a sour little flavor in my mouth now
You move in circles hoping no one’s gonna find...
-
Miss Jackson is another name for a succubus or a demon that goes away but keeps coming back.
-
I think Miss Jackson is a murderer, because, at the beginning they say " found another victim... No one knows its you miss Jackson"
-
The song is obviously about being heartbroken/paranoid because the guy's significant other is pretty much a slut, but he still loves her. It's based on Brandon's past because he said that he used to sleep with different girl every time and didn't care about how he felt or how he made them feel. But, when it happened to him, he realized how crappy it feels.
The video, however, is so confusing. The overall summary is that he kills the woman and keeps her with him. (The reason is similar to that in the video of "A Little Piece of Heaven" by Avenged Sevenfold.) But, I'm confused because when he kills the woman the other people who are on their knees bow their heads like they're disappointed.
Anyways, my overall interpretation of the video is that he stops Miss Jackson from breaking hearts by killing her and keeps her dead body with himself so that he can have sex with her anytime he wants. This way he saved other people AND he fulfilled his desire at the same time. -
I think the song is about the way the man in this situation is paranoid about everybody around him and the only way for his suspicions to stop, is for himm to kill everyone.
I have absolutely no idea wheter this is accurate or not, it was just a thought that occured. -
He slept with a lot of girls and broke their hearts and he said in an interview that it finally happened to him and when it did he felt really shitty and so the song is actually about some girls heart that he broke
