Papa Roach: Broken Home Meaning
Broken Home Lyrics
All alone
Broken home
All alone
I can't seem to fight these feelings
I'm caught in the middle of this
My wounds are not healing
I'm stuck in between my parents
I wish I had someone to talk to
Someone to I could confide...
-
I believe this song is about a bad devorce. The teengager is stuck between two parents. One who "cares" and one who doesn't at all. It shows how a broken home can scar the teen. He cried himself to sleep because he felt useless. a weak link" in the family.
-
This song could kind of be an anthem for kids going through the same scenario. This song really paints a picture of what its like to grow up in a broken home. The absent father only around when its convinient for him. A Mother just staying back not really knowing what to do, and a kid caught in the middle not exactly sure of what to do.
-
Basically, Jacoby (lead singer) had a father who ignored him and didn't care about him. He expressed it all in this song.
-
I personally think it's about how divorce just fucks up kids' lives. I think Jacoby's childhood had a lot to do with this one.
-
I believe this song was about the lead singers life when he was younger. He had a really bad relationship with his parents espesially his father. Life at home was terrible so that's why he named it broken home. Basically, any teenage life at home.
