Pink Floyd: Breathe Meaning
Breathe Lyrics
Don't be afraid to care
Leave but don't leave me
Look around and choose your own ground
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all...

First off, Pink Floyd rocks my socks...even if they were trippin at the time of Breathe (and many others). I think this song is all about existentialsim. Just 'be' and don't care so much about the rest of us. Experience life and don't get caught up in trivial matters. Rock on!

It is NOT about LSD, I think I can safely say they did not to LSD during the album after seeing the effects on Syd Barrett (former member).

This song is just saying be free, dont care about what they'll say or who sees you, "leave but dont leave me" is just refering to go and find yourself but remember the loved ones you left behind. "And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be". Experience life for all its majisty, then it goes into not conforming into the streotypical, white-collar yuppies that they try to make us "Run, run rabbit run Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race toward an early grave." All this song is saying is be yourself and experience life.
