Us and Them Lyrics
And after all we're only ordinary men
Me and you
God only knows
It's not what we would choose to do
Forward he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
And the general sat
And the lines on the map
Moved from side...
-
For the line "And after all we're ordinary men" means to me why are we fighting in war, what have i done you, and what have you done to me? "Black and Blue" the two sides of war. so i think that this song is party about war and the pointlessness of war.
