True Love Waits Lyrics

I'll drown my beliefs
To have you be in peace
I'll dress like your niece
And wash your swollen feet

Just don't leave
Don't leave

I'm not living
I'm just killing time
Your tiny hands
Your crazy kitten smile

Just, don't...

I think this song is a about a 25 year older that is in love of a 15 year old girl that is still inoccent but beautiful, a lolita. He wants her to wait till shes 18 so they can be together withot any regrets

Thom Yorke (lead singer) has said that the "lollipops and crisps" line refers to a news story in which a young child was left alone in their house, while their parents took a holiday, with nothing to eat but lollipops and crisps.

The lyrics seem to indicate that the singer is waiting for his True Love. The line "don't leave" perhaps refers to a past love who left him, and now he is waiting for that gap to be filled. Until then, he's "just killing time"...
