Radiohead: Bulletproof...I Wish I was... Meaning
Bulletproof...I Wish I was... Lyrics
Tearing up inside of me
Every day every hour
I wish that I was bullet proof
Wax me
Mould me
Heat the pins and stab them in
You have turned me into this
Just wish that it was bullet proof
So pay the...

I think, in life we face lots of pain and hurt and that tym we wish that our feeling.. could control or protect wid something 'bulletproof' he use really deep n dark metaphor fr dis word.. I luv dis song.. Radiohead iz legend to me!

I take this song as him talking about some kind of internal struggle, and wishing he could be bulletproof ( being invincible in against it). I think the lines “wax me mould me heat the pins and stab them in you have turned me into this “ references the fan base in a way.He knows no matter what he puts out or does won’t ever fully satisfy the fans so it’s almost as is he’s taunting them.

I wish it didn't have to hurt (Bulletproof)

You know when you're so full of grief, of loneliness, of regrets and bad reveries; when you feel like that person have taken all kind of delight and pleasure you used to have, and all that was left in your body is the cold memories and the sorrow, and at the same time you're so void, you are also so heavy, you feel like sinking all time long. You're in the middle of this huge mess and you don't know what to do, what to say, how to escape; the only thing you can possibly think about is the wish dwelling in your soul, the deep wish of being bulletproof, of being unachievable, of feeling nothing. And I interpretate "Bulletproof... I Wish I Was" in this level. I think this song is so beautiful, so painful... Definitely one of my favorite songs ever.

I think it means that he wants to live and to live in our world right now and in the state that it is right now it's best to be bullet proof. Of course like all of Thom yorke's songs they are very open to interpretation it doesn't really matter what it means to somebody else. I think that's what Thom likes. Songs that mean something to you and your not very sure why. Bulletproof is one of my favorite songs.
-
I think he means that he wish nothing would harm him, much like the first interpreter on this song says.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I think this song has to do with abuse, and the other sad events that occured throughout his life, and how he wishes he is "Bulletproof" AKA: "Harmproof"
