Great song. I interpret it as a person who is rich and famous loses their fortune to drugs.

Its criticizing religion with "So divine" and the irony of "hell of an elevator" Using a "medicated state of mind" to refer to the comfort in belief in an afterlife. "Fortune faded" isn't referring to good luck, but the uncertainty of the future

At one point in time you were very lucky and got away with a lot and now that your fortune has faded your luck has run out when you need it the most when you are being judge for the things you got away with. A.K says possibly taking someones life, doing drugs, causing mayhem, overstaying your welcome, etc... Then finishes by saying god you throw all of these things infront of me and you expect me not to make mistakes.

This song is about getting away with things you arent supposed to be doing. Fortune faded is running out of the luck that you had with all the stuff you got away with that you werent supposed to be doing. As anthony says "come on god, do i seem bulletproof" shows that one day your luck with run out.
