Take A Bow Lyrics
A standing ovation
Oh, Yeah
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

You look so dumb right now
Standing outside my house
Trying to apologize
You're so ugly when you cry
Please, just...

#1 top rated interpretation:Take a bow how about a round of applause. She's saying he put on a good show. But that's all it was a show. She fell for for it for awhile she loved him. He was really to much in love with himself though and could not commit to one. He got caught though. He tried to make every woman feel special and used the same lines, words, moves on all the women. This one woman who did fall for him caught him. She really did get sucked in at first like an idiot she was nieve. She's not nieve anymore. She will not be a subject to his emotional mind playing games anymore. Someone else's turn now she can just sit back and watch as he continues to make a fool of himself using the same game on some other weak victim. Typical cycle of a player. They are so narcissistic and will someday realize when they have no game left and no one wants them they'll live a lonely sad life. So take a bow good show but that was the last call for me. Me, my time and my feelings are worth way more.

This songs helps me understand and move on from my recent breakup.
It's about a guy who was entertaining someone else behind his girlfriends back and she caught him. And now she does not want him anymore and wants to move on because she deserves better.
All the time she didn't know he was being shady and doesn't understand how he can feel "sorry" when he wasn't being true this whole time. That's what I couldn't understand either how he can be sorry when he knew he was doing something wrong. If you want one woman, then stop pursuing other females. It's disrespectful. She doesn't want him back because he should realize he lost a good woman and she does not want to be treated like a doormat. She deserves a good partner. And so do you! -
This song is one way for her to say she does not want him back because he repeats his way of trying to smooth his way back in.

Rihanna is thanking him in a nice way for him letting her to see his true colors for you betraying her, she telling us about his stupidity and dumbness as he tries and smoothed his way back into her life but she don’t want to be hurt no more so she's letting him go she cannot forgive him for what he has done
-
The very beginning of the song sees Rihanna sarcastically say well done for betraying her, which she explains in depth in the first verse.
The first verse explains the man's stupidity and dumbness as he desperately tries to take back what he did, which Rihanna in turn cannot forgive him for as she feels betrayed enough to send him out for good.
The pre-chorus sees Rihanna telling the man that he is remorseless, because really, he doesn't care, even though he is apologetic because she caught him in the act, cheating on her. She thinks he is remorseless because he wouldn't have said sorry if she hadn't known what he had done.
In the chorus, Rihanna describes how she became susceptible to this man's deceit, so uses a sarcastically metaphoric writing style to show this. She furthermore uses metaphors to explain how she ends the relationship, by comparing the breakup to curtains closing at a theatre. She enjoyed seeing this man beg to be forgiven for cheating on her, just to be entertained. But she isn't playing games with this man anymore, so asks him to leave.
The second verse sees Rihanna telling the man to pack his bags and get out, but he is still at his worst, begging for forgiveness, but she isn't putting up with his nonsense and pathetic sob-stories, and ends the verse by sarcastically saying 'What else is on?' to explain how she will find a new lover.
In the bridge, Rihanna plays the role as a prize-giver, and awards 'Best Liar' to the man, sarcastically for being deceitful, and two-faced. His 'show' was him trying to reassure her that he was faithful, but actually wasn't. And she asks him to recite a 'speech' or what he says is his apology. -
Rihanna's telling this man to get the hell out of her house because he pissed her off and she's not taking any more of his drama. She's taking back all the things she gave him cuz obviously she feels that he doesn't care about her anymore. She's letting him know that she doesn't want him anymore iand that he needs to pack up everything and get far far away from her before she does something drastic.
-
The boy did something that pissed Rihanna off and he got dumped. Now she doesn't want him all up in her Kool-Aid and wants him to leave. He tries to apologize but Rihanna is tired of it. She doesn't forgive him and tells him to go away forever and take a bow.
